Sistercare & the Cola Rosé Shower
Community partnerships have the power to turn awareness into action, and Sistercare was once again honored to be part of this year’s Cola Rosé Shower — an inspiring event dedicated to uplifting women and expanding access to critical healthcare resources.
Founded by Deonna Wylie, the Cola Rosé Shower brings women together to celebrate, educate, and support one another while raising awareness about women’s health needs throughout the Midlands. For four years now, thanks to Deonna’s efforts, Sistercare has received hundreds of feminine hygiene products for our clients.
“Sistercare was a natural partner for the Cola Rosé Shower because their direct impact aligns perfectly with our heart for women’s healthcare access and dignity,” Wylie shared. “They don’t just serve women, they stand beside them in some of life’s most vulnerable moments. Our mission is rooted in meeting every woman wherever she is on her journey, and Sistercare does that daily with compassion and consistency. This partnership is a powerful reminder that when women collaborate, we don’t just fill gaps, we build bridges, restore hope, and create lasting change together.”
For more than four decades, Sistercare has worked across the Midlands to provide safety, advocacy, and support for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Through emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and community education, the organization walks alongside women navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Events like the Cola Rosé Shower help highlight how interconnected women’s wellbeing truly is. Access to healthcare, safety in relationships, emotional support, and community resources all play a role in helping women thrive.
Our CEO Leah Wicevic agrees. “Each year, we serve nearly 4,000 survivors of domestic violence. For many of these individuals, rebuilding their lives begins with meeting the most basic needs. Something as simple as access to feminine hygiene products can restore dignity, comfort, and a sense of normalcy during an incredibly difficult time. When someone is escaping violence, every small act of support matters. Removing even one expense can ease the overwhelming weight of starting over and remind survivors they are not alone.
