Holiday drive

Thanksgiving
We look to ensure that survivors of domestic violence and their children are able to enjoy the holidays just as any other family. If you are looking to help, Wal-Mart or grocery store gift card donations in the amounts of $10-$50 enable Sistercare clients the opportunity to select and purchase their own meals. This type of freedom is empowering and helps to promote independence and a violence-free life.
Holiday Adopt-a-Family
Each year, families served within Sistercare’s Community Programs fill out wish lists for items they would like for the holidays. Our assistance in gaining those gift items helps lessen the financial burden of the holidays. Families usually include a mother and up to 6 children. If you or someone you know would like to adopt a family, please contact Permeco Myers at p[email protected] or 803-926-0505 for additional information.
Gift Giving
We also welcome donations of unwrapped gifts for infant, children, teens and adults of all ages to be used to assist additional clients within our shelter locations. Those clients will have the opportunity to select items from our Holiday Shop. All items should be new and unwrapped, but you may provide gift bags and wrapping paper.
