In May, Sistercare hosted “Camp True North” in partnership with the Junior League of Columbia, Southern Way Catering, and Camp Cole. This one-day teen camp was designed to help participants learn how to navigate and build healthy relationships.
The morning featured interactive presentations from the University of South Carolina School of Law, Sistercare’s Clinical Department, and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
In the afternoon, campers enjoyed activities such as archery, fishing, bracelet-making, and a visit to Fawcett Farms to meet the animals. This fun-filled day was the first of its kind for Sistercare and sparked meaningful conversations between youth and community leaders. We are excited about the future of this camp and look forward to fostering the growth of the teens who attend.
